Novatek, Russia‘s top independent gas producer, signed a binding deal on the conditions to sell a 20 per cent stake in its second Arctic gas liquefaction project to Chinese partners, equally split between China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
Russia’s Novatek said on Friday it had sold a 20 percent stake in its new liquefied natural gas project, Arctic LNG 2, to two Chinese companies on the same terms as a similar deal with France’s Total.
