U.S.-Iranian Tensions Keep Oil Prices going Up

Crude Oil Price News: Brent crude futures jumped nearly $3 to hit a high of $69.16 a barrel, the highest since September 17. The Brent March contract was at $68.25/barrel.

The price of oil surged nearly $3 late Thursday after U.S airstrikes killed an Iranian military leader Major General Qassem Soleimani, an escalation in tensions between Washington and Tehran that could threaten the world’s crude supplies.
