Job Summary:  The Trucking Crane Operator is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a lattice boom crane used in rigging up, rigging down, loading, and unloading of equipment during rig move operations, or equipment change out.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum One plus years lattice boom crane operator experience moving rigs is preferred. NCCCO Lattice Boom certification is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following represents the majority of duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all inclusive nor present other duties from being assigned when necessary. Regular and reliable attendance is essential and required in performance of job.

Prior to leaving yard, inspection of crane, rigging and load securement. Assemble, set up and rig up crane. (Lattice style crawler crane) Rig Down, disassemble and load crane. (Includes load securement) Pre-job and post-job inspection of crane and all associated rigging and equipment. Complete and submit daily/monthly inspection sheet. Report any defects on equipment or rigging to proper supervisor. Understand and maintain compliance with all State and Federal laws for crane operations. Understand and maintain compliance with H&P Safety guidelines and Policies. Read, interpret and calculate the load percentage by utilizing the load charts of the crane owner and operation manual. Operation of crane on various locations, including rig sites and yard, in a safe and efficient manner, including onsite driving for proper positioning, lifts and loading of equipment. Maintaining compliance to company and customer safety requirements. Work 14 days on and 7 days off.
